1. Introduction

LumoBond AB (under formation) ("LumoBond", "we", "us"), a company organised under the laws of Sweden, is developing an AI-powered human compatibility platform and companion wearable. This AI Policy & Disclaimer explains, in advance of launch, how we intend to use artificial intelligence and automated systems, the limitations of such systems, and the principles that will guide our approach to responsible AI. It also explains how we may use AI-related tools on our current waitlist website.

2. Scope

This Policy applies to any current or planned use of artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, or similar automated technologies in connection with our website, waitlist, communications, and, in the future, our platform and wearable products. Because our product has not yet launched, some sections describe our intended approach and design principles rather than a live, operational system.

3. Our Vision for AI

LumoBond's mission is to help people better understand human compatibility using data, behavioural signals, and machine learning models. We intend for our future platform to analyse information you choose to share, potentially including data from a companion wearable, in order to generate insights, suggestions, or compatibility indicators. We are committed to developing this technology responsibly, transparently, and with meaningful human oversight.

4. Current Use of AI on Our Website

At this stage, our website functions as an informational and waitlist landing page. We may use limited AI-assisted tools for purposes such as drafting or refining website content, generating illustrative concepts of our future product, moderating community feedback for policy compliance, or analysing aggregated, non-identifying website usage patterns. These uses do not involve automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects concerning you.

5. No Automated Decision-Making Affecting You Today

We do not currently use artificial intelligence to make automated decisions about you that produce legal effects or similarly significantly affect you, such as decisions about eligibility, pricing, or access, in connection with the waitlist. Joining our waitlist is a simple, manual, opt-in process.

6. Future Platform: Intended AI Principles

As we design our compatibility platform and wearable, we intend to apply the following principles, which we will update and formalise as the product approaches launch:

Transparency: We intend to explain, in plain language, what data our AI systems use and, at a general level, how they generate outputs such as compatibility insights.
Human oversight: We intend to ensure that significant outputs generated by our AI systems can be reviewed, questioned, and, where appropriate, overridden, and that our systems are designed to support human judgement rather than replace it entirely.
Data minimisation: We intend to design our AI features to use the minimum data necessary to produce useful insights, in line with the principles set out in our Privacy Policy.
Fairness and non-discrimination: We intend to test our models to reduce bias and to avoid outcomes that unfairly disadvantage individuals or groups based on protected characteristics.
Security: We intend to apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect data used by our AI systems from unauthorised access, loss, or misuse.

7. AI Outputs Are Not Guarantees or Professional Advice

Any compatibility insight, suggestion, score, or other output that our future platform may generate is intended to be informational and exploratory in nature. Such outputs, whether generated in the future or previewed in marketing materials today, do not constitute psychological, medical, relationship, legal, or professional advice of any kind, are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular circumstances, and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for significant personal, relational, medical, or financial decisions.

8. Limitations of AI Systems

Artificial intelligence and machine learning systems, however carefully designed, have inherent limitations. Outputs may be affected by the quality, completeness, or representativeness of underlying data, may reflect statistical patterns rather than definitive truths about any individual, may contain errors, and may not account for the full complexity of human relationships and personal circumstances. Compatibility, attraction, and relationship success depend on many factors that cannot be fully captured or predicted by any technology.

9. No Substitute for Human Judgement

Nothing produced by our current website or any future AI-powered feature is intended to replace your own judgement, the advice of qualified professionals such as therapists or counsellors, or open, honest communication with the people in your life. We encourage you to treat any future compatibility insights as one input among many, not as a definitive verdict.

10. Marketing Materials and Concept Illustrations

Descriptions, mock-ups, or illustrative examples of our future AI-powered platform or wearable presented on our website or in marketing communications are conceptual and may not reflect the final product, its features, its accuracy, or its availability. We reserve the right to change our product roadmap, feature set, and underlying technology at any time before launch.

11. Feedback on Our AI Approach

Because we are still designing our AI systems, we welcome feedback on the principles described in this Policy. You can share your views by contacting privacy@lumobond.com.

12. Regulatory Compliance

As our platform develops, we intend to monitor and comply with applicable law governing artificial intelligence, including the EU Artificial Intelligence Act and relevant Swedish and European data protection law, and to update our practices and this Policy accordingly ahead of any public launch of AI-powered features.

13. Changes to This Policy

We will revise this AI Policy & Disclaimer as our product and underlying technology develop, and in particular before we launch any live AI-powered feature to end users. We will update the effective date above whenever changes are made and, where changes are material, provide additional notice.
